Winter officially arrives in Bangkok | The Pinoy Legacy
The Thai Meteorological Department announced on Monday that winter is officially here!
“On October 23, Thailand has officially entered winter. The North and Northeast will experience the lowest temperatures while the upper central and eastern regions will be considerably cool,” said the announcement from Wanchai Sakudomchai, Thai Meteorological Department director-general.
Bangkok’s predicted lowest temperature is 15 degrees Celsius, which can be expected between the end of December and the end of January. However, the capital will still experience isolated rain so it’s imperative not to ditch your umbrella just yet or store it somewhere till summer.
The cold season is expected to last until February.
