Vientiane, Laos – Walk-in visa application out, online appointment in

The Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, Laos will no longer accept walk-in visa application starting next month, February 1.

Foreigners wishing to apply for non-immigrant, tourist and other visa types at the Thai Consulate in Vientiane have to make an online appointment at vientiane.thaiembassy.org.

“Please be informed that starting from 1st February 2019 you will need to schedule an online appointment before submitting your visa application for non-immigrant, tourist, and transit types via thaivisavientiane.org and print out the appointment confirmation with your queue number and bring it along with necessary supporting documents to the Visa Section of the Embassy,” said the announcement posted on the Embassy’s Facebook page.
