Upper Thailand to remain cold, Bangkok gets a little warmer
The North and Northeast will continue to have cold weather due to the high-pressure system over upper Thailand with expected minimum temperatures ranging from 7-14 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department on Wednesday (December 11), mountainous areas in upper Thailand will experience cold mornings with frost in some areas and minimum temperatures of 1-8 degrees.
Bangkok and the Central region, as well as the Eastern region, will continue to feel cool nights but temperatures during the day will be warmer. Expected minimum temperatures range from 14-21 degrees.
Meanwhile, in the South, the moderate northeast monsoon across the Gulf will continue to whip up the waves to about 2 metres in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani southward. All ships should proceed with caution.
