Two homemade bombs were discovered in front of a 7-Eleven store in Pak Kret district on Sunday. Police believe they were made by vocational students to use against their rivals.
In a report from The Nation, the “ping-pong” bombs were discovered in front of the convenience store on Tiwanon Road in Nonthaburi province.
“Quoting a food vendor, Pak Kret police said the homemade bombs were possibly brought to the scene and hidden by a group of five teenage men who reportedly went to the convenience store on three motorcycles,” the report added.
Two groups were in involved in a motorcycle chase, said the food vendor. A loud bang was heard and a used ping pong bomb was later found in the area.
