The estimated Global population as of April 2017 is 7.5 billion. It goes to say that over a quarter of all the people on planet Earth use Facebook every month – and that’s not even counting Facebook-owned apps like Instagram and WhatsApp. But what are the countries that have huge presence on Facebook and are active Facebook users?

Facebook’s number one country is no longer the United States according to the website The Next Web. As of July 13th, India has overtaken the United States to become the platform’s largest country audience with 241 million active users, compared to 240 million in the United States.
The Philippines and Thailand are also included in the Top 10 countries with huge Facebook presence. The Philippines, which ranks 6, has 69 millions users. Whereas Thailand with 59 million users, lands at number 8.
Meanwhile, Bangkok tops the list in the cities with the largest active Facebook users with 35 million; followed by Jakarta with 26 million, and Dhaka with 25 million. Manila was not included on the list. Check the complete list below.
