The Mall closes stores for sterilizing after visitor found to have returned from South Korea
BANGKOK — The Mall Bangkae announced on Friday the closure of its stores from March 6-8 for cleaning and sterilizing, after a Thai laborer who just returned from South Korea paid the mall a visit.
A Thai laborer who recently returned from South Korea, one of the countries with the most Covid-19 cases, visited the department store on March 5 and took photographs of herself in the shops and uploaded them on Facebook.
The department store took the safety measure after it was brought to its attention.
The Mall Bangkae has urged those who worked in the shops to quarantine themselves at home for 14 days.
