BANGKOK — The number of confirmed new Covid-19 cases rose sharply by 30, bringing the total to 177, said Dr Sukhum Karnchanapimai, permanent secretary at the Ministry of Public Health, said on Tuesday (March 17).
Eleven of the new cases are connected to a crowded boxing match that saw a large number of coronavirus cases, while other cases are those that worked closely with foreigners, Dr Sukhum said.
