Thailand expects more tourists will come during Christmas season
Immigration Bureau’s deputy chief Pol Maj-General Archayon Kraithong said on Tuesday that more tourists are expected to spend time in Thailand during the holiday season now that there are more flights to the country.
Pol Maj-General Archayon, as reported by The Nation, “dismissed fears of foreign arrivals sparking a new wave of infections in the country, saying more than 20,000 tourists have arrived since November 1, and as of November 8, only 15 were found infected. He added that those found infected have been isolated and are being monitored.”
According to records, most vaccinated tourists who entered Thailand are from the United States and European countries like Germany, the UK, and Russia.
