Body of Teacher Jail to be repatriated on 11 October
SUKHOTHAI – The body of Teacher Jail Mariano Daniel, the Filipino teacher in Sukhothai who died from head injuries sustained in a motorbike accident on 5 October, will be repatriated on 11 October, Friday.
In an interview with Pinoy Legacy, Rev. Pastor Conrado A. Directo of the Unshakable Zion International Christian Church (UZICC) Thailand, said that Jill’s friends and immediate family have already accepted what happened to him.
“They were comforted and they let go of Jill wholeheartedly after a series of Bible Services,” said Pastor Directo, who also officiated the Necrological Service from 6 October – 9 October.
A short viewing of the remains of Teacher Jail is scheduled to take place at Asia One Teck Hong Funeral in Bangkok on Friday, 3 pm.
Christian churches, friends, friends of friends, as well as the Association of Cordillera in Thailand (ACT), helped a lot in raising the needed amount for the repatriation.
