Several Thai beauty pageant contestants plunge into a pond
CHIANG MAI — A video of several Thai beauty pageant contestants went viral as it captured the moment the smiling contestants plunged into a pond when the bridge they were on suddenly snapped.
The dolled-up ladies who were all eyeing the crown were posing for the cameras on Monday morning during the second day of the competition in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
According to the New York Post, the contestants, as part of their promotional duties, visited a cafe and posed for pictures on a suspension bridge constructed from ropes connected to a steel walkway.
