School principal pulls out gun during morning assembly
Students and teachers at a school in southern Thailand were shocked after their school principal pulled out a gun during the morning assembly on Thursday, February 4.
After apologizing and bidding farewell, the school principal pulled out a gun and threatened the students and staff present.
According to a report, the 60-year-old man was protesting against accusations that he was sexually involved with a student. Luckily, one of the teachers was able to take the gun from the man.
Classes were immediately dismissed, and the school said they will open again on Monday.
The man with the gun was ordered to report to the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 16 in Songkhla.
A Grade 9 student’s mother has filed a police report accusing Sayan of having sexual relations with her daughter.
The parent told the press that the affair started at the beginning of this year and that her daughter had visited the principal at his home.
