Sadao Border Checkpoint: Arrivals from Malaysia being scanned
Public health officials and immigration police have been using thermoscans to check the temperature of people arriving from Malaysia at the Sadao border checkpoint in Songkhla province amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
Recently, 132 Thai Muslims from the three southern border provinces who had returned from a religious ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, were told to be tested at hospitals as people infected with the virus had also attended the same event.
Over 400 people have been infected in Malaysia , including those participated in the ceremony.
