President Duterte ‘inclined’ to extend COVID-19 quarantine to April 30
President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday night’s televised address said the government is inclined to extend the enhanced community quarantine over Luzon until April 30.
“We are inclined to extend the lockdown up to April 30. Tingnan natin after that,” Duterte said.
The initial community quarantine across Luzon is scheduled to end on April 12.
With the possible extension, people may be required to stay at home until the end of the month to avoid transmission of the disease.
