Duterte arrives for official trip to Thailand
BANGKOK: Thailand rolled out its red carpet to welcome Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte who has arrived on March 20, 2017 for his three-day official working visit in the kingdom.
Duterte was received by Royal Thai Government Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak and Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Mary Jo Bernardo-Aragon at the Royal Thai Air Force Military Air Terminal 2 in Bangkok.
The President is in Thailand to meet Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha and Thailand’s major business groups.
Duterte and the rest of the Philippine delegation will also meet the Filipino Community in Thailand on the 22nd of March at the Royal Thai Navy Hall.
