Pinay teacher suffers multiple stroke, needs financial assistance
BANGKOK — A Pinay teacher at a Catholic school in Bangkok suffered multiple strokes and needs financial assistance.
Filipino English teacher Felicitas Parayno or Miss Pad as she is fondly called, “suddenly looked like she was having a seizure” when they were having a meeting for their English camp, said Jonathan Abella Macaroy, a friend and colleague of Miss Pad.
“Naninigas po sya at parang nangingisay,” said Macaroy.
Macaroy also told Pinoy Legacy that Miss Pad was rushed to Paolo Hospital where she was given a shot worth B55,000. The doctor told Miss Pad’s husband that she needed the shot immediately as her situation at that time was unstable.
Despite not having financial means, Miss Pad’s husband allowed the doctor to give his wife a shot.
“The shot was badly needed. Her condition could have been worse if she didn’t receive it,” said Macaroy.
The Pinay teacher has since been transferred to Prasat Neurological Hospital. Her bill from the previous hospital has reached 106,000 baht.
