Phuket schools, universities order to close due to worsening Covid cases in Thailand
All schools in Phuket have been ordered to close due to the worsening Covid-19 infections in Bangkok and other parts of the country.
In an order issued Friday, all schools, tuition centers, and universities will be closed from July 12 to 23, and they are required to conduct online classes for students during this period.
On Sunday (July 11), Thailand recorded new high daily cases at 9,539 with 86 deaths.
