Philippine Airlines announces biggest seat sale on March 1
Manila – Philippine Airlines is marking its 78th anniversary. And to make the celebration grander, the Philippine flag carrier is going to offer its biggest seat sale this year.
According to PAL vice president for sales Ryan Uy, seat sale will be available from March 1 to March 10 with more than 2 million discounted seats both domestic and international. Travel dates are from March 16 to Dec. 31, 2019.
Philippine Airlines revealed that one-way base fares start at P78 for domestic flights and $78 for international destinations. Promo fares are applicable to over 30 domestic and 40 international destinations.
The first and oldest commercial airline in Asia will also start to roll out its upgraded computer system next month which, according to Uy, will offer passengers a ” no-crash” booking experience, even with high traffic during seat sale events.
Earlier this month, the airline received its 5th Airbus A350. It also offers new non-stop flights to Hanoi, Phnom Penh, and New Delhi, taking advantage of growing demand for air travel, said PAL president Jaime Bautista.
