Man’s best friend saves the day
TRANG — The life of a man in the southern province of Trang could have ended tragically had it not to his dog’s instinct.
According to a report, a pet dog started barking when it saw a cobra entering the compound of Winai Sangtim’s home on January 23 at around 9 pm.
Winai at the time was watching television in his living room when his pet dog started barking loudly. When he opened the back door, he saw under the washing machine a huge snake curling.
Local volunteers who arrived at the scene after Winai alerted them, put the snake in the cage and was released back to the wild in the morning.
