Passenger train collides with freight train, several injuries reported
RATCHABURI — A train carrying dozens of passengers (Bangkok to Yala) collided with a freight train at Pak Tho Railway station in Ratchaburi at 6:40 pm this evening.
According to reports, the freight train became derailed.
Several people were injured and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Pakorn Manana, 37, conductor of one train, was seriously injured.
It is believed a signal malfunction or error caused the accident.
