Only two new confirmed Covid-19 cases in past 24 hours
Thailand maintained its trend of single-digit new cases, with two more people testing positive for Covid-19 while there were no deaths over a 24-hour period, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman of the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said today (May 12).
The number of Covid-19 patients has now increased to 3,017, with 2,798 having recovered and been discharged. The death toll remains at 56.
“This is a very small number – just two new cases today – but we cannot be complacent as we have still not reached zero,” Taweesin said.
