One month old baby is Thailand ‘s youngest COVID-19 patient
Thailand earlier reported that the country’s youngest confirmed COVID-19 case is a one-month-old baby in the eastern province of Rayong.
Rayong Governor Surasak Charoensirichote said that health officials suspect that the baby caught the disease from the parents, who are living in Bangkok, adding that the child will be sent to Bamrasnaradura Institute of Infectious Diseases in Nonthaburi province for treatment.
Rayong has, so far, reported six COVID-19 cases, with four having recovered.
After the declaration of a nation-wide night-time curfew, which came into effect on Friday, the Governor said he has instructed all local administrators to make sure that residents strictly comply with the curfew.
