PHITSANULOK, Thailand – An Overseas Filipino Worker based in Phitsanulok took to Facebook to post a message for his wife on their 5th wedding anniversary with his own rendition of an Original Pinoy Music (OPM) in four languages.

Paulo Masangcay, a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University, posted on Facebook his own version of Wency Cornejo’s ‘Hanggang’ in Thai, Spanish, English, and Filipino to greet his wife, Ana Masangcay, on their anniversary. Ana is currently in the Philippines with their two kids.

Masangcay also wrote a touching message which he posted with the video. “Happy 5th wedding anniversary to us, mahal! I don’t have flowers nor do I have a box of chocolates for you. Flowers just end up dead a week later, and in the trash. Chocolates are not that good for you and the kids! 😀 I’ve only got this one for you,” he said.

As long as I have a heart that knows how to love

and care for no one else but you,

until where, until when, until when will I love you?

Until God decides to take this life of mine….

FILIPINO:

 Giliw, ‘wag mo sanang isipin,

 ikaw ay aking lilisanin,

‘di ko magagawang lumayo sa ‘yong piling,

hanggang may pag-ibig,

laging isisigaw, tanging ikaw…

Hanggang may pag-ibig, lagging isisigaw…

tanging ikaw…
