Officials invite tourists to 10th Phu Ruea Christmas Festival
Phu Ruea district officials encourage tourists to visit the 10th Phu Ruea Christmas Festival in Loei province and witness Thailand’s largest Christmas tree plantations.
Held at the entrance to Phu Rua National Park, the festival allows visitors to enjoy the cold weather and take photos of the beautiful red poinsettia leaves. The event also features a local product trade show and a walking street where tourists can stroll for shopping.
The province is expecting that more tourists will come this year as the Covid-19 situation starts to get better in the area, said Phu Ruea District Chief Phumarin Kongpiantham.
The Phu Ruea Christmas Festival will run between November 25 to January 31 next year.
