Bangkok and Nonthaburi will have November 4th and 5th as special public holidays as designated by the cabinet to ease traffic and facilitate the travel and security arrangements for ASEAN leaders and officials attending the 35th ASEAN Summit.
The 35th ASEAN Summit is going to be held at Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, from October 30th to November 4th.
According to Deputy government spokesperson Ms. Traisulee Traisoranakul as reported by Thai PBS World, state enterprises, commercial banks and private companies can make their own decisions whether they will close or postpone the holidays in a way which will not affect their services to the public.
