Monk helps to catch a cobra with his bare hands
After a local rescue center in Loei province was informed of a snake slithering into people’s houses in Muang District on October 10, a rescuer invited Phra Rungtham to go with him, a monk, who used to be a snake catcher before being ordained.
They arrived at the scene and after 10 minutes of search, they found the snake taking shelter under the bed. The monk successfully caught the snake that was reported to be a cobra with his bare hands.
No information as to what happened to the snake after it was caught but it was most likely returned to nature.
What the monk did was dangerous. If you see snakes or poisonous animals, it’s best to inform the authorities.
