Mayweather vs Pacquiao in December? Mayweather says so

LAS VEGAS — Floyd Mayweather Jr. said he will come out of retirement to take on Manny Pacquiao for a second time in December.

In a Facebook video showing Mayweather and Pacquiao together entitled ’Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Rematch!‘ posted on Saturday, Mayweather said “I’m coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year.”

The video, reportedly in Japan, showed the two boxing icons chattering at each other over a possible fight for the second time.

Whether the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight actually happens remains to be seen.

In 2015, Mayweather won over Pacquiao in an extremely advertised fight that was largely criticized by most boxing fans. The fight received a 4.6 million pay-per-views.
