Magnitude 6.0 earthquake strikes Sarangani
The province of Sarangani was struck with a 6.0 magnitude earthquake late Thursday, said PHIVOLCS.
The tectonic tremor occurred at 11:38 p.m. some 22 kilometers east of San Felipe town. It struck at a depth of 41 kilometers.

- General Santos City — Intensity V –
- Koronadal City— Intensity IV
Instrumental Intensities:
- General Santos City— Intensity VI
- Tupi, South Cotabato; Malungon, Alabel and Kiamba, Sarangani— Intensity V
- Koronadal City— Intensity IV
- Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental— Intensity I
Phivolcs said the quake is expected to cause damage and spawn aftershocks.
