Magnitude 4.0 earthquake shakes Davao Occidental
DAVAO CITY — The province of Davao Occidental was jolted by a magnitude 4.0 earthquake in early Thursday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The tectonic tremor struck at 04:16 a.m. approximately 110 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos town with a depth of 10 km.
There were no reported intensities felt in the area.
Phivolcs said damage to structure and aftershocks were not expected.
