LOEI — Phu Ruea mountain in Loei province is starting to attract local tourists due to its cool, rainy weather.

On Wednesday, Sombat Suphasorn, chief of the Phu Ruea National Park, said that people are starting to flock to the mountain for its weather and beautiful flowers that are blooming.

According to Sombat, the temperature in the area on Wednesday morning was 14 degrees Celsius.

If you’re thinking of hiking and setting a camp, Sombat said the national park provides transportation to the summit. He also added that “camping areas, toilets and food stalls have been made ready to serve visitors.”
