A large school situated not too far from the Parliament will shut its door on Thursday to “avoid disruption from a planned pro-democracy protest,” The Nation reported.

According to an announcement from Rajinibon School, an all-female school for kindergarten to high school, police requested it to close on Thursday to protect students and avoid traffic problems during the Free People movement’s rally at the Parliament.

To make up for the unscheduled closure, the school said it will hold extra lessons.
