Pinoy appeals for Jollibee to open a store in Thailand

Facebook user Venus Reambonanza posted Wednesday in SWD Kapamilya Facebook group an appeal to bring Jollibee to Thailand (Bangkok). Her simple post was received positively by the members of the group who were also craving for the Filipino fast-food chain’s chicken joy, yum burger, etc.

“Nananawagan po ako na sanay mag tayo na sila ng JOLLIBEE dito sa Bangkok parang awa nyo na po 😂😫,” said Reambonanza in her post.

Not only did Reambonanza post her request, she even went beyond and above by sending Jollibee a private message.

Please mo nagmamakaawa 😦😦😦🙏🙏🙏”

Jollibee responded to the message

Minutes later, comments started flooding.

Although there were a few people who think that Jollibee in Thailand is next to impossible, the Filipino multinational chain of fast-food restaurants responded to Reambonanza’s message with hope, saying:

“Hello, Venus! We wish we could be there too. We’re looking into expanding, and hopefully we can spread the joy there soon!”

This could be the start of something positive. But for now, we can only hope.

Jollibee is a staple Filipino fast-food chain. Introduced in 1978 (41 years ago), Jollibee’s presence is felt in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, East Asia (Hong Kong, Macau), North America, and Europe (Italy, UK).
