Immigration: Non immigrant visas can be extended up to three days in advance at Chaeng Wattana
Pol Col Phakhapong Sai-ubol, Region one immigration spokesman, said his chief Maj-gen Piti Nithinonthaset was concerned about locals and foreigners contacting immigration at the Government Complex due to the increasing Covid-19 cases.
To reduce overcrowding and the possibility of contracting Covid-19, Phakhapong said people wishing to extend their visa using J, L, M and N counters (for long-term non-immigrant visas) could come in up to three days before their visa expires.
Phakhapong also said that if there are changes to this, Maj-gen Piti Nithinonthaset will let concerned individuals know.
Thai Rath reported that the measure started Yesterday, July 20th.
