High school student jumps to his death after caught stealing money
Rayong, Thailand – A high school student (Mathayom 5) in Rayong jumped to his death from the fourth floor of the school building, after admitting he stole money from his friend.

In a report from Sanook, the boy, 17, whose name was withheld, confessed to stealing 2,000 baht from his friends. His parents were informed of what he did and were invited to visit the school.

Not long after, the boy jumped off the fourth floor of the school building and sustained heavy injuries. He was rushed to Krungthep Rayong hospital, where he later pronounced dead.
The authorities are now investigating as to why the boy jumped.
