Hailstorm in Nan turns streets and houses white
People in Nan province were greeted on Sunday evening with hailstorm that turned the streets and houses white.
Ban Daan and Ban Piangsor villagers in Chaloem Phra Kiat district said the storm which brought down hail as big as an adult’s thumb lasted for 10 minutes. No damage was reported.
Villagers felt they were somewhere in Europe after the storm turned the scene white.
According to the Thai Meteorological Department, more hail and high winds are forecast until Tuesday in Upper Thailand including Bangkok.
TMD advised people to stay away from big trees and unsecured billboards.
