Green Day announces Asia tour, stopping in Bangkok and Manila

American rock band Green Day is coming to Bangkok and other Asian cities to promote their thirteenth studio album Father Of All, which is set to be released on February 7, 2020.

In an announcement made last night, Green Day’s Asia Tour will commence in Singapore on March 8, followed by Bangkok on March 11, Manila on March 14, with stops in Taipei, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan.

This is going to be Green Day’s third performance in Bangkok. The first time the band played in the capital was at MBK Hall in 1996, then in 2010 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. The Bangkok concert in 2020 will once again take place at Impact Aren Muang Thong Thani

Green Day is composed of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool. Among the many hit songs of the band include Wake Me Up When September Ends, 21 Guns, Good Riddance, and When I Come Around.
