Galing ng Pinoy athletes gather together for a selfie
It has been an impressive galing ng Pinoy time in recent weeks for the Philippines in the sports field, following gold medals and Olympic possibilities.
On Wednesday, 16 October, Olympic weightlifting silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz was at Malacañang Palace together with four other world-class Pinoy athletes who made waves recently on the international stage.
And, of course, the day of the galing ng Pinoy athletes didn’t end without a selfie.
Diaz (bottom left), was with Women’s World Boxing Championships gold medalist Nesthy Petecio; Olympic pole-vaulter EJ Obiena; Olympic gymnast and world championships gold medalist Carlos Yulo; and silver medalist and World Boxing Championships Eumir Marcial.
President Rodrigo Duterte handed each of them additional cash incentives for bringing pride to the Philippines.
