Frost greets tourists at Doi Inthanon, 4° Celsius this morning
Tourists visiting Doi Inthanon — Thailand’s highest and one of the most famous peaks in Chiang Mai province — were delighted to see plants covered with frost this morning as the mercury dipped to 4 degrees Celsius.
Doi Inthanon National Park posted photos of plants covered with frost on their Facebook page, adding that the lowest recorded temperature this morning (Nov 22) was 4 degrees Celsius.
Apart from the cold weather, tourists also enjoyed watching the beautiful sea of mist while waiting for the sunrise.
