Photo Contest: Foreigners invited to join “Thailand in your Mind”

CHIANG MAI, Thailand – In an effort to promote Thailand’s image and “Thainess” around the globe, the Government Public Relations Department Region 3 in Chiang Mai is organizing a photo contest and is inviting foreigners to participate.

Dubbed as “Thailand in Your Mind”, the photo contest is open to all foreigners who are studying, working or residing in Thailand.

The theme of the contest this year is “Thailand: Stability, Prosperity, and Sustainability.”

Registration and photo submission is ongoing and will end on May 31, 2017. All photos submitted will go through a qualifying round. The selected photos will be posted online and will be opened for a public voting starting June 15 at 12 01 a.m. and will end on July 15 at exactly 12:59 p.m.

Great prizes await the winners of this photo contest. The champion will bring home a cash award of 20,000 baht, a trophy and a certificate. The first, second and third runner-ups will bag 15,000 baht, 10,000 baht and 5,000 baht respectively, together with a trophy and a certificate. The PRD Region 3 will also give a certificate to sixteen honorable mentions.
