JAMM presents Filipino singer Jake Zyrus LIVE in Bangkok on Jan. 20
Filipino singer Jake Zyrus, formerly called “Charice” until his gender transition to male, is set to perform at Hard Rock Café, Siam Square in Bangkok on January 20.
Hailed as one of the most talented singers in the world (before his transition), Zyrus gained worldwide recognition for his powerful voice; belting Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston songs with ease.
Zyrus is the first solo Asian artist in history to ever land in the top 10 album on the Billboard 200. His song “Pyramid” featuring singer Iyaz, is Zyrus’s most successful single to date.
The Filipino singer made headlines when he dropped the use of “Charice Pempengco” and changed it to Jake Zyrus in June 2017. He revealed that both of his breast were removed and had begun testosterone treatment.
