Chainat, Thailand – A Filipino national initially diagnosed with pneumonia, suffered a cardiac arrest earlier today and is currently in a coma at Chainat Public Hospital.

Friends of Mr. Arnulfo Caspe appealed to Filipinos in Thailand earlier today for monetary help. According to Rhey of rheykeen.com, Ms. Yolanda Arma Reveche, Arnulfo’s cousin, asked him to seek help for Mr. Caspe’s hospital bills so he could go home to the Philippines.

Mr. Caspe was initially diagnosed with pneumonia. The first bill was worth 15,000 baht. However, his friends were informed later that Mr. Caspe went into a coma.

Born in Borongan, Eastern Samar, Mr. Caspe arrived in Thailand on March 29. He started working as a teacher on April 19. However, he was terminated from his job last month due to his frequent absences.

Nine hours after Rhey’s first post was published, he posted again on Pinoy Tayo Facebook group saying:

Hi sa lahat. Please pray po para sa kababayan natin na si Mr. Caspe.. anytime po tonight mawawala na po sya sa mundo… sana #philippineembassy wag one sided. Since ako nag post then better ask me. Salamat
