Family, friends of Filipino teacher who died in Phetchaburi thank condolers, donors
Petchaburi, Thailand – The family and friends of the deceased Overseas Filipino Worker thanked those who extended assistance during this difficult time in their lives
Jaqueline Gan, sister of the deceased Filipino teacher Erick Gan who was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident in Petchaburi on Sunday, posted on Facebook a thank you message for the people who helped them.
“In behalf of our family we sincerely thank you all from the bottom of our heart who helped us in our difficult times. We may not know every single one of you but we will be forever grateful on what you given to our family. We will forever treasure it as we moved on in our lives. In behalf of our family thank you and may God bless you and your familes always.” (sic)

Gan’s friend and roommate James Enoc Luzon who is in contact with the Embassy and proper authorities, also thanked the people who extended their help and invited Filipinos in Petchaburi for the last viewing and prayer offering today, 25 January, before the possible repatriation of Gan’s remains to the Philippines this weekend“Thank you for spreading the word, we appreciate it,” Luzon told Pinoy Legacy. “Erick’s family is still in need of financial assistance for his wake and funeral in the Philippines. We are still knocking on your hearts ”, he added.
Erick Peralta Gan, 30, of Sarasas Witaed Phetchaburi School, died on the spot after his motorcycle skidded off the road and his head hit the cemented kilometer marker on their way to the beach.
