Facebook post of baby croc in Bangkok canal has locals worried
BANGKOK — The baby croc spotted swimming in Khlong Prapa in Bangkok made residents living along the banks worried that the canal may possibly be a habitat of crocodiles.
Local officials observed the canal for a possible sighting of the crocodile after a photo of the baby reptile made rounds on Facebook on Tuesday.
People living near the banks have been warned not to swim as it may be dangerous.
“Khlong Prapa runs through different parts of Bangkok such as Don Muang, Prachachuen and Tao Poon areas and also leads to the neighbouring provinces of Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani,” The Nation reported.
