Extend COVID visas early to avoid overloading, says Phuket Immigration
PHUKET — Foreigners staying in Phuket on 60-day “Covid visas” are requested to come to the Phuket Immigration office to extend their visas and avoid overloading the office just like what happened last week.
The call follows after foreigners arrived en masse on Thursday (March 25) to have their visas extended so they could continue their stay in the country.
On Tuesday (March 30), Immigration Bureau Commission Lt Gen Somphong Chingduang issued a notice to all immigration offices across the country to continue extending 60-day ‘COVID visas’ until at least May 29.
