Eight people injured after walkway collapses near Bangkok

SAMUT PRAKAN — Eight people were injured after a 10-meter stretch of a one meter wide walkway along the Nong Ngu Hao Canal in Bang Sao Thong, Bang Phli District collapsed yesterday.

Two of them were seriously injured, and most of the worst injured were in a boat moored under the walkway.

Victims were taken via ferry to the hospital along the canal.
