Dust particle level in Bangkok ‘moderate to mildly threatening’
BANGKOK — “Moderate to mildly threatening,” said the Air Quality and Noise Management Bureau on Bangkok’s PM2.5 dust particle level on Tuesday, January 7 — averaging 35-67 micrograms per cubic meter.
Some districts of Bangkok such as Thonburi, Bang Khun Thian, Bang Na and Din Daeng; as well as nearby provinces Samut Prakan and Samut Sakhon, are in the slightly above the safety standard.
According to the Air Quality Index, the quality of air in Bangkok is harmful to health and at 09.29am the city was ranked the sixth most-polluted.
