Please dress appropriately, says Chonburi Immigration sign
The immigration in Chonburi put up a sign requesting customers to dress appropriately whenever they visit a government office. The sign, which shows inappropriate attires, was placed outside the main entrance at the Jomtien headquarters.

Men wearing shorts won’t be turned away. It’s a request rather than a new regulation. However, those showing more skin like people in swimwear (the beach is not far) or trunks, or women showing a lot of body or legs – as ever – will be told to cover up.
