Doi Inthanon temperature plummets to 6 degrees Celsius
After Thailand officially entered the cool season on October 17, tourism in the north is expected to be bustling in the coming weeks. Plummeting temperatures are now being felt in the hills and mountain tops of several northern provinces.
Morning temperature on the plains of the north was 20-22 degrees Celsius, while the mountain tops can be cold to very cold.
In Thailand’s highest peak, the lowest recorded temperature in Doi Inthanon so far was 6 degrees Celsius, which took place yesterday, 21 October. This is the season people will come in droves to see the beauty of the sea mist at Kiew Mae Pan Viewpoint.
Also yesterday, The Pinoy Legacy’s co-founder and author of OMG book Mr Jun Amparo, shared on the page’s wall photos of Petchabun having 17 degrees Celsius.
