Doi Inthanon temperature on Loy Krathong plummets to 5 degrees Celsius
CHIANG MAI — The temperature at Doi Inthanon plummeted to a chilly 5 degrees Celsius on Loy Krathong festival.
According to local website cm108, the recorded temperature at the top of the mountain on November 11 (Loy Krathong) was 5 degrees Celsius, which is considered the lowest temperature since the beginning of the cold season.
Meanwhile, in Kew Mae Pan area, the lowest recorded temperature was 8 degrees Celsius, while Doi Inthanon National Park Office experienced 12 degrees Celsius.
The morning fog covered the area, and there was a beautiful sea of mist that delighted the tourists who flock to the place to experience the cold weather.
