Cooler weather in North, NE expected tomorrow, 29 Oct – 1 Nov
The Thai Meteorological Department predicted cooler weather in the north and northeast of Thailand starting tomorrow, 29 October to 1 November due to a cold front moving in from China.
Temperatures in the north and northeast are forecast to drop 2-4 °C, said the Met department on Monday morning, adding that the cooler weather is brought by an intense high-pressure cell from China. The cold front will bring thunderstorms and strong winds, followed by more strong winds and falling temperatures.
Bangkok, Central, and eastern regions are also expected to feel a drop in temperatures by 1-3°C.
Meanwhile, in the south, isolated heavy showers are expected due to the strengthening of the north-eastern monsoon over the Gulf of Thailand, Thai PBS World reported.
Fisherman and sailors are advised to avoid sailing as rough seas with two-meter high waves are expected.
