Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) announced on the morning of January 18th, 2021, that the weather is expected to be cool and windy for the next three days due to the strong high-pressure system from China.
TMD also said that the temperatures in upper Thailand are expected to drop between 4-6 °Celsius, while the Eastern and Central regions will see a drop between 3-5 degrees Celsius along with steady winds.
People over upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather, TMD advised, while small boats off the shore of Eastern Thailand are warned to stay ashore as waves up to two meters high could be seen.
